My Journey in Medicine

My passion for neurology began during my medical education at the prestigious King George’s Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow, where I completed both my MBBS and MD in Medicine. The rigorous training at KGMU laid a strong foundation for my medical career, instilling in me the values of dedication, precision, and patient-centered care that continue to guide my practice today.

After completing my medical degree, I served as a Senior Resident in the Department of Medicine at KGMU from 2011 to 2015, gaining invaluable experience in managing complex medical cases and developing my clinical acumen. This period was instrumental in shaping my understanding of comprehensive patient care and the importance of accurate diagnosis.

Driven by my fascination with the intricate workings of the nervous system, I pursued specialized training in neurology at the renowned Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow. Between 2015 and 2018, I completed my DM in Neurology from this prestigious institution, which is recognized as one of India’s leading centers for neurological education and research. My three years as a Senior Resident in the Department of Neurology at SGPGIMS provided me with extensive exposure to diverse neurological conditions and cutting-edge treatment methodologies.

Specialized Training and Expertise

During my tenure at SGPGIMS, I gained comprehensive hands-on experience in electrophysiology, including Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV), Electromyography (EMG), Electroencephalography (EEG), evoked potential studies, and repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS). This specialized training has equipped me with advanced diagnostic capabilities, allowing me to provide precise evaluations and targeted treatment plans for my patients.

My association with SGPGIMS, an institution that has been at the forefront of neurological care since 1987, has profoundly influenced my approach to patient care. The department’s commitment to excellence in patient care, teaching, and research has shaped my understanding of modern neurology and reinforced my dedication to staying current with the latest advancements in the field.

After completing my specialized training and gaining valuable experience as a consultant neurologist at Mayo Medical Center, Gomtinagar, I established Prime Neurology Clinic with a vision to provide accessible, high-quality neurological care to the people of Lucknow and surrounding regions.

Today, Prime Neurology Clinic operates from two convenient locations – our primary clinic in Gomtinagar and our second branch on Raebareli Road – ensuring that expert neurological care is within reach for patients across the city.
